On Thursday, Qatar Airways debuted a new preflight safety video that is sure to lighten the mood of travelers prior to takeoff. The new onboard safety video will be rolled out by the end of the year and features past and present football stars who perform the safety demonstration. The video stars Brazilian footballer Neymar Jr, FC Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski and AS Roma legend Cafu, among others. Designed for Qatar Airways’ global family audience, the six minute video is directed by Peter Lydon who co-wrote the script with the creative agency 180 Kingsday. In Thursday’s announcement, Qatar Airways’ SVP – Marketing & Corporate Communications, Ms. Salam Al Shawa said,

The wonderfully creative concept from180 Kingsday will capture our passengers’ attention whilst providing a fun light-hearted video to get the in-flight entertainment underway.
