Starting May 16, 2024, Porter Airlines will launch new daily direct service between Ottawa and Winnipeg. The route will be operated with an Embraer E195-E2, and introductory return fares from $525.
On Wednesday (December 6, 2023), Porter Airlines announced the launch of new daily direct service between Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Winnipeg Richardson International Airport (YWG) starting May 16, 2024. The route will be serviced with an Embraer E195-E2, and roundtrip fares start at $525. Through Ottawa, the new route will offer seamless one-stop connections to Boston, Charlottetown, Frederickton, Halifax, Moncton, New York, Thunder Bay, Toronto-Pearson, Toronto City and St. John’s.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Porter Airlines’ SVP and Chief Commercial Officer, Kevin Jackson, said,
