Porter Airlines has relaunched service to all 18 of their year-round destinations today, with the addition of flights to Fredericton, Saint John, N.B., Soult Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Timmons and Windsor. The carrier has progressively restarted service from September 8, 2021.
On Wednesday (October 6, 2021), Porter Airlines announced a major milestone, as the carrier has now resumed service to all 18 of their year-round destinations, with the addition today of flights to Fredericton, Saint John, N.B., Soult Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Timmons and Windsor. After suspending operations during the global COVID-19 pandemic, Porter Airlines has gradually ramped up operations since September 8, 2021. As the airline has resumed operations, Porter has strengthened their existing standards with a focus on sanitization for the health and well-being of their guests and team members.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Porter Airlines’ President and CEO, Michael Deluce, said,
“It’s a significant milestone in our recovery, as we return to all of our year-round markets. We’re looking forward to seeing more of our passengers in these destinations. Over 1,000 Porter team members are now at work supporting these efforts, as we focus on recalling our complete workforce and adding more flights in the coming months.”
