Oman Air to Launch Direct Seasonal Service to Beirut, Lebanon From July 4, 2021

Oman Air will launch twice-weekly seasonal flights between Muscat and Beirut, Lebanon starting July 4, 2021. The flights will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays through September 16, 2021 and the route will be service with a Boeing 737.

On Thursday (June 10, 2021), Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, announced the launch of seasonal twice-weekly direct service between Muscat and Beirut, Lebanon from July 4th through September 16, 2021. Flights will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays and the route will be serviced with a Boeing 737. Wednesday flights will depart Muscat at 21:15 and arrive in Beirut at 00:50. The return flight will depart Beirut at 02:30 on Thursday and arrive in Muscat at 07:15. Sunday flights depart Muscat at 02:30 and arrive in Beirut at 06:05, while the return flight leaves Beirut at 07:05 and arrives in Muscat at 12:30.


Oman Air has implemented a comprehensive health and safety program to ensure that guests can travel with confidence throughout their journey. Masks are required at Oman’s Airports and onboard, while social distancing is maintained during boarding and deplaning. Oman Air’s aircraft are meticulously cleaned after each flight and at the end of each day and cabin crew have been provided with complete PPE kit. Additionally, the onboard meal service has been modified to limit unnecessary contact, and other measures have been implemented to ensure guest and team member safety.
