Oman Air Celebrates the Delivery of Their Ninth Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner

Oman Air has welcomed the newest addition to their fleet, a Boeing 787-9, expanding their Dreamliner fleet to nine aircraft.

On Monday (December 1, 2025), Oman Air announced the delivery of a new Boeing 787-9 aircraft, expanding their Dreamliner fleet to nine. Since introducing the aircraft type in 2015, Oman Air has leveraged the Dreamliner’s advanced technology and fuel-efficient design to strengthen their key long-haul routes including London, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Paris and Amsterdam. The new aircraft is the third to join the fleet since 2024, with six more scheduled for delivery from 2027.
In Monday’s announcement, Oman Air’s CEO, Con Korfiatus, said,
“The Dreamliner remains one of the most popular and technologically advanced wide-body aircraft available today, delivering a balance of efficiency, reliability and passenger comfort. The newest addition reinforces our commitment to building a modern, efficient fleet that supports our network growth and elevates the travel experience.”
Oman Air’s new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is configured with two cabins, including 30 Business Class seats and 258 Economy Class seats. With this fleet addition, Oman Air continues to deliver a premium travel experience, ensuring guests enjoy unparalleled comfort alongside the hallmark Omani hospitality that defines their service.
