Oman Air Becomes Newest Member of the oneworld Global Airline Alliance

oneworld® has today welcomed Oman Air as their 15th member airline, with oneworld customers now having access to the carrier's network across the Middle East, Far East, Africa and Europe, along with exclusive benefits.

On Monday (June 30, 2025), oneworld® announced that Oman Air, the national flag carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has officially become the 15th member of the global alliance. This strengthens oneworld’s presence across the region, and unlocks new opportunities for alliance customers with access to Oman Air’s route network throughout the Middle East, Far East, Africa and Europe. Starting Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, oneworld customers can access an extended network of destinations across Oman Air’s growing global schedule, including the launch of new direct service between Muscat and Amsterdam. From their hub at Muscat International Airport, Oman Air serves 42 destinations across 22 countries and territories globally. The airline offers three cabins, including the exclusive Business Studio with private suites on select longer-haul flights.
In Monday’s announcement, oneworld’s CEO, Nat Pieper, said,

This partnership opens up exciting new connections for our customers, particularly across the Gulf and South Asia, and reinforces oneworld’s position as the premium alliance for international travellers.”
Also commenting on the carrier becoming a full oneworld member, Oman Air’s CEO, Con Korfiatis, added,

We are thrilled to be able to welcome oneworld customers to the Sultanate of Oman to experience our unique culture, stunning mountain excursions, beautiful beaches, and, above all, the warm hospitality of the Omani people.”
Oman Air will now provide oneworld Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby customers with benefits including earning and redeeming miles, earning status points, priority check-in and boarding and lounge access. Oman Air’s top tier customers will also gain access to oneworld priority benefits, including a network of nearly 700 premium airport lounges globally, as well as newly opened oneworld branded lounges at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Seoul Incheon.
