Norwegian Air Shuttle has released their winter 2024/25 schedule, which includes 159 routes to 71 destinations. The carrier’s winter flying program will include 92 routes from Norway, 33 from Sweden, 34 from Denmark and 10 from Finland.
On Tuesday (January 23, 2024), Norwegian Air Shuttle announced the launch of their winter 2024/25 flying program. In total, the airline will operate 159 routes to 71 destinations including 92 routes from Norway, 33 from Sweden, 34 from Denmark and 10 from Finland. Next winter, Norwegian will continue to operate direct services to popular European destinations from Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger. Additional highlights include direct flights to Alicante from both Haugesund and Ålesund, from Tromsø to London, Copenhagen and Longyearbyen, and from Sandefjord Airport to both Alicante and Las Palmas.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Norwegian’s Commercial Director, Magnus Thome Maursund, said,
“We continue to fly routes to popular destinations where Norwegians can thaw out a bit while the Norwegian winter unfolds here at home. We therefore fly frequently to Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Alicante, Malaga and Barcelona, among others. Berlin, Paris, Krakow and London continue to be big city favourites, and we have high frequency and competitive prices for flights to these cities.”
At the end of March, Norwegian will launch their summer 2024 flying program, which will start with over 330 routes to more than 120 destinations. New for summer 2024, Norwegian will offer service from Oslo to Istanbul, Bodrum, Lyon, Montpellier and Basel.
Norwegian Air Shuttle was established in September 2002 with four domestic routes and has since carried over 300 million passengers. The carrier is the largest Norwegian airline and currently employs approximately 4,500 team members. Most employees are based in Norway in Oslo, Trondheim, Bergen and Stavanger, or at the company’s head office in Fornebu. The carrier also has offices in Riga and Barcelona, as well as bases in Alicante and Malaga. The carrier currently offers affordable flights on a short-haul network of destinations in the Nordic countries and to key European destinations. Norwegian aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 45 percent by 2030.
