Norwegian Launches 12 new Routes for Summer 2026

Norwegian Air Shuttle has today announced the launch of 12 new routes for summer 2026. Along with previously announced routes, the carrier will add a total of 30 new routes next summer.

On Thursday (November 20, 2025), Norwegian Air Shuttle announced the addition of 12 new routes for summer 2026, expanding the total number of new routes next summer to 30. From Norway, nine new routes are being introduced from Oslo, Bergen and Stavanger. Norwegian will start flying to Las Palmas from both Bergen and Stavanger, and from Oslo, direct flights will be operated to Cluj in Romania, Lamezia in Italy and Zurich in Switzerland. Next summer, Norwegian will fly a total of 350 routes, of which 166 are to and from Norway.
In Thursday’s announcement, Norwegian’s Commercial Director, Magnus Thome Maursund, said,
“The 2026 summer program is now complete, and we are proud to be able to offer an attractive and broad route network with several direct flights from the Nordic region. With the launch of Oslo–Lamezia, this will be route number 16 between Norway and Italy. Norwegians love Italy, and now our customers will have even more choices when they want a taste of Italy next summer. At the same time, we are strengthening our offer from across the Nordic region, with several new direct routes from Denmark, Sweden and Finland.”

For summer 2026, Norwegian will serve 26 destinations from Bergen, 23 of which are international, as well as 16 destinations from Stavanger, including 15 international routes. The carrier will offer a broad route program next summer from across the Nordic region, with 129 destinations. Additionally, Widerøe flies to a number of smaller airports in Norway, providing important connections both domestically and to Europe.
