Norwegian Air Shuttle to Offer 144 routes to 65 Destinations for Winter 2023/2024

Norwegian Air Shuttle has launched their winter 2023/24 schedule with 144 routes in and between the Nordic countries to 65 European destinations. The carrier will offer direct routes to exciting destinations in Europe from Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger.

On Thursday (March 16, 2023), Norwegian Air Shuttle announced the opening of ticket sales for their winter 2023/24 schedule, which includes 144 routes in and between the Nordic countries and Europe with 65 destinations on offer. The carrier will continue to offer daily service to and from the largest domestic cities, as well as direct service to exciting European destinations from all major airports in Norway, including Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger. Additionally, Norwegian will offer nonstop service from Haugesund to Alicante, from Ålesund to Alicante, from Tromsø to London and Longyearbyen, and from Sandefjord Airport Torp to both Alicante and Las Palmas. Routes to popular ski destinations in the Alps will be announced at a later date.


In Thursday’s announcement, Norwegian Air Shuttle’s Commercial Director, Thome Maursund, said,


“Next winter we have 144 routes in and between the Nordic countries and to destinations in Europe. We are continuing popular routes, and the mix of destinations gives customers the opportunity to fly with us to dream holidays with sun and swimming, art and culture or activity holidays.”


Norwegian’s summer 2023 flying program will start in a few weeks offering 300 routes to 114 destinations. The schedule includes service to popular destinations such as Bari, Skopje, Porto, Bologna, Bucharest, Sofia Milan/Bergamo, Alanya/Gazipasa and Thessaloniki.


Norwegian Air Shuttle was founded in 1993, while the low-cost airline with Boeing 737 aircraft began flying in 2002, offering smart and pleasant travel experiences at low prices. The airline has been voted ‘Europe’s Best Low-Cost Airline’ by Skytrax for the last six years. Norwegian’s loyalty program, Norwegian Rewards, has also been voted ‘The Airline Industry’s Best Loyalty Program in Europe/Africa’ at the Freddie Awards four years in a row. In 2019, Norwegian became the first airline to sign the UN Climate Action Programme, committing to becoming climate neutral by 2050. The carrier currently offers affordable flights on a short-haul network of destinations in the Nordic countries and to key European destinations.
