Norwegian Air Shuttle has today unveiled their summer 2025 flying program, which includes 308 routes to over 120 destinations.
On Wednesday (September 11, 2024), Norwegian Air Shuttle announced the launch of their summer 2025 flying program which runs from March through October 2025. The schedule includes 308 routes to more than 120 destinations, including the continuation of routes from Oslo to Basel, Montpellier, Istanbul and Lyon, as well as from Stavanger to Bergamo, and between Bergen and Edinburgh.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Norwegian’s Commercial Director, Magnus Thome Maursund, said,
“Holidays are often something we look forward to the most, and the planning is filled with expectations and excitement. That is why we are happy to present the tickets for next summer. Then Norwegian flies to 121 destinations in 36 countries, and we fly to destinations with opportunities for everything from sunny beaches, great nature experiences or vibrant city experiences, says Magnus Thome Maursund, commercial director at Norwegian.”
For summer 2025, Norwegian will operate 153 routes to/from Norway, 79 from Denmark, 63 from Sweden and 21 from Finland (certain routes between both countries are counted in both countries).
Norwegian Air Shuttle was established in September 2002 with four domestic routes and has since carried over 300 million passengers. The airline Group, including Widerøe, is the largest in Norway and currently employs approximately 8,200 team members. Most employees are based in Norway in Oslo, Trondheim, Bergen and Stavanger, or at the company’s head office at Fornebu in Bærum. The carrier also has offices in Riga and Barcelona, as well as bases in Alicante and Malaga.
The Group’s fleet, including Widerøe, now totals 135 aircraft, with 86 Boeing 737-800 and 737-8 MAX jets in the Norwegian fleet, and 45 De Havilland Canada Dash-8 and four Embraer E190-E2s in Widerøe’s fleet. Widerøe Ground Handling also serves 41 Norwegian airports. Norwegian currently offers affordable flights on a short-haul network of destinations in the Nordic countries and to key European destinations. Norwegian aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 45 percent by 2030.
