Nolinor has today announced the introduction of the first Boeing 737-400 jet to their fleet which features the airline's distinctive livery. The aircraft initially entered Nolinor's fleet under the OWG brand for flights to Cuba.
On Tuesday (March 12, 2024), Nolinor Aviation announced the introduction of the first Boeing 737-400 featuring the carrier’s distinctive livery to their fleet. The aircraft was initially added under the OWG brand for flights to Cuba, but is now increasingly service FIFO (Fly-in-Fly-Out) contracts in the mining industry. The new 737-400 livery symbolizes a strategic realignment with the airline’s core mission of being a main gateway to the Nordic regions. Nolinor has plans to add a second 737-400 featuring their livery in the near future.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Nolinor Aviation’s President, Marco Prud’Homme, said,
“The introduction of the 737-400 with the Nolinor livery is much more than a visual update; it is a clear signal of our unwavering dedication to serving the North. This aircraft, and those that follow, are equipped to meet the unique demands of our mining customers, providing them with a more tailored and resilient travel experience.”
In the coming weeks, Nolinor will also upgrade the interior of this 737-400 with new, more robust seats, designed to meet the needs of passengers traveling to mining sites.
Founded in 1992, Nolinor Aviation is Canada’s largest airline offering specialized commercial charter flights. The company’s OWG division was founded in 2020 and offers scheduled service to select Caribbean destinations. Nolinor operates an all-Boeing fleet of Boeing 737-200s, 737-300s, 737-400s and 737-800s.
