Airbus has today announced that MNGA Airlines, a Türkiye based global logistics provider and e-commerce enabler, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to acquire two new Airbus A350F Freighters.

On Wednesday (June 18, 2025), from the Paris Air Show 2025, Airbus announced that MNG Airlines (MGNA) of Türkiye has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the purchase of two all-new Airbus A350F Freighters. MGNA is a global logistics provider and e-commerce enabler, and the new A350Fs will become a central element of their future fleet, bringing all the benefits of the new freighter to the carrier’s operations.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Mapa Group’s CEO and Chairman of MNG Airlines, Doruk Günal, said,
“This agreement for two A350F deepens a partnership with Airbus across its full range of freighter programmes. This move strengthens our position across key trade lanes, including Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and a growing footprint in North America. It will support both our scheduled and charter operations and give us added flexibility to meet evolving cargo demands, from e-commerce to high-value freight and express logistics.”
Also commenting on the new A350F commitment, Airbus’ EVP Sales – Commercial Aircraft, Benoît de Saint-Exupéry, said,
“We are delighted to welcome MNG Airlines as the latest customer for the A350F, underscoring the strong market appeal for this game-changing freighter. The A350F will bring new generation efficiency and performance as well as new levels of capacity and unprecedented loading flexibility. We look forward to ensuring a seamless integration into MNG’s operations.
The Airbus A350F features the industry’s largest main deck cargo door, and offers a fuselage length and capacity optimized to accommodate standard pallets and containers. Currently under development, it will carry up to 111 tons with a range of 8,700 km. With over 70 percent of the airframe made of advanced materials, the A350F offers a 46 tonne lighter takeoff weight than the competing derivative. Powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, the A350F will offer up to a 40 percent reduction in fuel use and CO₂ emissions compared to previous generation aircraft. Additionally, the A350F is the only freighter aircraft that will fully meet ICAO’s enhanced CO2 emissions standards, which come into effect in 2027.
