Lufthansa is Prepared to Share the Holiday Spirit This Season

With the official kickoff of the holiday season in most of the federal states of Germany this weekend, Lufthansa is prepared to welcome guests with holiday cheer. The airline will serve around 280,000 customers during the season from Frankfurt and Munich alone.

Yesterday, Lufthansa announced that they are prepared to handle Christmas season holidaymakers during the busy travel period. The airline recommends guests arrive early so their journey to the sun or snow will be stress free. For families traveling with children 12 and under, Frankfurt offers special Family Check-in areas as well as play corners at the airport. Families with young children are also able to board early and once onboard, children can enjoy special child-friendly entertainment programming, cuddly toys and a special children’s pilot cap. Additionally, Lufthansa offers complimentary children’s menus and baby food which can be ordered up to 24 hours prior to departure.

Throughout the holiday season, adults will also be spoiled with special Christmas treats such as chocolate Santa Clauses, Christmas Stollen Confectionery, Pastry Bags or Christmas Chocolate bars. Guests on long-haul flights from Germany will be treated to Christmas goose with red cabbage and dumplings between December 20th and 26th. Lufthansa flights also have an Advent wreath onboard (naturally without candles) to add to the festive Christmas spirit.
