Lufthansa Group has announced an expansion of their network for the upcoming winter season. SWISS will introduce direct flights to Geneva, while Eurowings will offer daily service to Dubai and three weekly flights to Jeddah.
On Tuesday (September 9, 2024), Lufthansa Group announced an expansion of their winter 2024/25 network. SWISS will introduce direct flights to Geneva, while Eurowings will offer daily service to Dubai and three weekly flights to Jeddah. Eurowings will also position an additional aircraft at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). Starting October 28, 2024, SWISS will fly daily from BER to Geneva. Over the last six months, Eurowings has expanded in Berlin, and now offers service to 30 destinations across Europe and the Gulf region.
The Lufthansa Group is the Market leader in Berlin, with Austrian, Brussels, Eurowings, Lufthansa and Swiss currently operating around 27 percent of all BER flights. Offering approximately 500 weekly flights, the Group connects the German capital region nonstop to 36 destinations. Inbound customers to BER can also enjoy seamless one-stop connections to over 300 destinations worldwide.
