Lufthansa Cargo’s Gregor Schleussner Elected to the Board of the Federal Association of German Airlines

Lufthansa Cargo has today announced that their Chief Financial and Chief Human Resources Officer, Gregor Schleussner, has been appointed to the Executive Board of the Federal Association of German Airlines.

On Wednesday (September 3, 2025), Lufthansa Cargo announced that Gregor Schleussner has been elected as a new Executive Board member of the Federal Association of German Airlines (BDF). He succeeds Frank Bauer, and will represent the interests of Lufthansa Cargo on the BDF Executive Board. Mr. Schleussner took over the role of Chief Financial and Chief Human Resources Officer at Lufthansa Cargo on July 1, 2025. With his election to the BDF Executive Board, Schleussner will also contribute his expertise and perspective there. Additionally, Dr. Kay Lindemann, Head of Corporate Policy at the Lufthansa Group, was also newly elected to the BDF Executive Board.
In Wednesday’s announcement, BDF’s President, Peter Gerber, said,
“We are very much looking forward to working with Gregor Schleussner and Dr Kay Lindemann on the BDF Executive Board. With their expertise and experience, both are excellent additions to our Executive Board.”
The Federal Association of German Airlines (BDF) is the central representative body for German airlines. Members include Lufthansa, Lufthansa Cargo, Eurowings, Condor and TUIfly. BDF is committed to competitive conditions for aviation in Germany, and is the point of contact for politicians, authorities and key industry pleasures. Some of the main issues addressed by the association include location costs, regulatory developments and the promotion of safe, sustainable aviation.
