LOT Polish Airlines has announced the opening of ticket sales on their new route between Warsaw and Heraklion in Greece. Starting May 30, 2026, the summer seasonal service will operate three times weekly on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.

On Thursday (November 27, 2025), LOT Polish Airlines announced the launch of new summer seasonal service between Warsaw (WAW) and Heraklion (HER). Starting May 30, 2026, the route will operate three times weekly on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays with a Boeing 737-8 MAX. Heraklion will become LOT’s fourth Greek destination, joining Athens, Thessaloniki, and Preveza Heraklion, the capital of Crete. Flight LO619 will depart Chopin Airport at 11:45 on Mondays and Saturdays, and at 10:20 on Fridays. The return flight, LO620, will depart Heraklion at 16:40 and 15:20, respectively.
In Thursday’s announcement, LOT Polish Airlines’ Network Director, Robert Ludera, said,
“The Greek islands have been unwaveringly popular among Polish holiday makers for several years now, so the launch of this new destination was a natural step for us in the process of expanding our route network in the Mediterranean. In the summer, our passengers are looking not only for sunshine, but also for locations that inspire them to discover the beauty of nature and the richness of history. With the new route, LOT Polish Airlines will provide a convenient and fast connection to one of Greece’s most interesting regions. I have no doubt that the service connecting Warsaw and Heraklion will be the right choice for passengers craving the sunny holidays of their dreams.”
LOT Polish Airlines connects Central and Eastern Europe with the rest of the world, including the U.S., Canada, India, Japan and South Korea.
