LOT Polish Airlines Launches New Service Between Warsaw and Stavanger, Norway

LOT Polish Airlines has today announced the launch of new year-round service between Warsaw and Stavanger in Norway starting November 24, 2025. The route will operate four times weekly with a Boeing 737-8 MAX airplane.

On Wednesday (September 3, 2025), LOT Polish Airlines announced the launch of year-round service between Warsaw (WAW) and Stavanger, Norway (SVG). Starting November 24, 2025, the route will operate four times weekly with a Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft. Flight LO489 will depart Warsaw on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 08:10. The return flight, LO490, will depart Stavanger at 11:25 on the same days.
In Wednesday’s announcement, LOT Polish Airlines’ CEO, Michał Fijoł, said,
The Warsaw-Stavanger route is the seventh connection we have launched this year. The city is considered not only a gateway to the fjords - an attraction that lures in tourists from all over the world, but also one of Europe’s most important oil industry centers that has been shaping the region's economic growth for decades now. With this connection, we are not only opening up new opportunities for tourists wishing to explore Norway’s extraordinary landscapes, but are also responding to the needs of a large group of Polish professionals working in the Stavanger region.
