LOT Polish Airlines has today announced the introduction of new ceramic dishes by Polish Brand Manufaktura Boleslawiec. The tableware collection features a design that is a modern take on tradition, and will be available in Business Class on flights to Japan.

On Wednesday (March 11, 2026) LOT Polish Airlines announced that Business Class passengers traveling between Warsaw and Tokyo-Narita will now enjoy meals served using ceramic tableware crafted specifically for the airline by the Manufaktura in Boleslawiec, Poland. Selected items from the collection also complement the LOT Premium Economy meal service on this route. The unique tableware sets accentuate the unique character of oriental dishes, while the carefully composed menu allow guests to savor elevated cuisine. The presence of Polish brands onboard shows the true identity of LOT Polish Airlines as a global ambassador for Poland. Just like pottery from Boleslawiec, the airline combines tradition with modernity by drawing upon its extensive heritage, while simultaneously operating in a highly contemporary context.
In Wednesday’s announcement, LOT Polish Airlines’ Director – Product Development and Customer Experience Office, Izabela Leszczyńska, said,
“We do believe that the travel experience depends on the tiniest of details. Pottery from Manufaktura in Boleslawiec has been present in many Polish homes for generations. Today, it embarks on a truly intercontinental journey. It is a subtle yet highly distinctive element that allows us to naturally promote Polish culture in its most authentic form. We want Polish design to be experienced by our passengers in a direct and tangible manner, as it accompanies them every step of the way.”
Also commenting on the tableware collaboration, Manufaktura Boleslawiec’s Co-Owner and Board Member, Pawel Zwierza, said,
“We are honored to be able to tell our story on board LOT aircraft. Manufaktura - created by people - will now fly various destinations around the globe to fulfill our customer’s dreams.”
