LOT Polish Airlines Inaugurates New Service Between Warsaw and Rovaniemi, Finland

LOT Polish Airlines has today announced the launch of new service between Warsaw and Rovaniemi in Finland. The seasonal route will now operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays until February 1st, 2026.

On Thursday (November 27, 2025), LOT Polish Airlines announced the launch of new service between Warsaw and Rovaniemi, Finland. The new seasonal route will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays through February 1st, 2026. Flight number LO477 will be depart Warsaw at 11:35, while return flight, LO478, will depart Rovaniemi at 16:50. In the period leading up to Christmas, Rovaniemi becomes the Lapland’s center of festive preparations. At Santa Claus Village, tourists can visit Santa’s office, send letters stamped with the official Arctic Circle postmark, and enjoy workshops and activities run by elves. On the village’s main square, special events featuring Santa and his helpers are held, and reindeer sleigh rides are available in the surrounding area.
In Thursday’s announcement, LOT Polish Airlines’ Spokesman, Krzysztof Moczulski, said,
“The connection to Rovaniemi is not just another destination in our network, but above all a journey to a place where you can truly feel the magic of Christmas. It is a symbolic route, filled with emotion and moments we share with our loved ones. We are delighted to make our passengers’ dreams come true and take them to the very heart of Lapland, especially since northern Finland fits perfectly into our strategy of expanding the range of connections to regions with strong tourism potential. I am convinced that Lapland — with its stunning landscapes and a wide range of winter attractions — will become one of the favourite destinations of the season. We warmly invite everyone on board.”
