LOT Polish Airlines has today announced the launch of new nonstop service between Warsaw and Reykjavik-Keflavik, with the inaugural flight taking to the skies on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

On Monday (April 14, 2025), LOT Polish Airlines announced the launch of new service between Warsaw and Reykjavik-Keflavik in Iceland. The inaugural flight took the skies on Saturday, April 12, 2025, and will now operate four times weekly during summer and three times per week during the winter season. Prior to departure on Saturday, an official ceremony took place, which was attended by Robert Ludera, LOT's Registered Representative, Director of the LOT Polish Airlines Network Bureau and Dominik Zgieb, Director of Aviation Operations Safety Bureau at Polish Airports. Iceland is LOT’s third new destination launched this year, following previously inaugurated routes from Warsaw to Lisbon and between Krakow and Paris-Orly.
In Monday’s announcement, LOT Polish Airlines’ Registered Representative and Network Director, Robert Ludera, said,
“Thanks to its stunning landscapes, high safety standards, and fascinating history, Iceland has become one of Europe’s most desirable and unique tourist destinations. The growing interest in tourism between Poland and Iceland provides at the same time a solid basis for closer business cooperation in the service, transport and cultural sectors. But our new connection is more than just a simple “back and forth” flight. We are seeing a lot of interest from passengers from Central and Eastern Europe, who are keen to choose our flights, transferring comfortably in Warsaw on their way to Reykjavik. This is a bright signal to us that LOT’s offering, including our travel standard and connecting options, is a good match for passengers’ expectations. We warmly invite everyone to discover Iceland’s extraordinary beauty with LOT Polish Airlines.”
LOT Polish Airlines connects Central and Eastern Europe with the rest of the world, including the U.S., Canada, India, Japan and South Korea. The carrier operates long-haul flights with state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Founded in 1929, LOT Polish Airlines is the 11th oldest airline in the world, and is also one of the most internationally recognized Polish brands.
