The LATAM Airlines Group has been voted by customers as having the ‘Best Seat Comfort in South America’ and the ‘Best Food & Beverage in South America’ in the APEX Passenger Choice Awards® 2023.
On Friday (May 26, 2023), LATAM Airlines Group announced that they have been voted by customers as having the ‘Best Seat Comfort in South America’ and the ‘Best Food & Beverage in South America’ in the APEX Passenger Choice Awards® 2023. LATAM’s product and service offerings have now been recognized by customers for the second consecutive year. APEX gathers anonymous feedback from passengers on nearly one million flights with 600+ airlines worldwide. Using a scale of from one to five stars, customers rate their experience in five categories, including seat comfort, cabin service, food & beverage, inflight entertainment and Wi-Fi.
In Friday’s announcement, LATAM Airlines Group’s Senior Travel Experience Manager, Estela Espinoza, said,
“We are very happy to receive these awards, recognizing the enormous effort our dedicated team puts into constantly improving the travel experience for our customers. We’re committed to further improving our service and elevating the experience on every flight.”
LATAM has already invested over $500 million in updating their aircraft cabins to make the inflight experience more comfortable for customers. The investment includes the installation of new seats with more recline, adjustable headrests, and more. In Premium Business Cabins, the new seats have even longer lie-flat beds, aisle access, more storage space, and greater privacy. The group’s F&B improvements include updated Economy and Premium Business menus with locally sourced ingredients, highlighting the flavors and versatility of Latin American cuisine. The menus include iconic recipes from Latin American chefs, that showcases their skills, and the impact they have made in their home regions.
LATAM Airlines Group S.A. is the leading airline group in Latin America, offering service in five domestic markets (Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru) as well as international service within Latin America and to Europe, Oceania, the United States and the Caribbean.
