On Saturday (July 19, 2025), Kuwait Airways announced the arrival of the second of nine Airbus A321neos on order.  The aircraft has been named ‘Wafra’ and will begin operating immediately.  Kuwait Airways’ new Airbus A321neo has been configured with 16 Business Class seats and 150 Economy Class seats, and features 13.3-inch 4K entertainment screens with Bluetooth headphone connectivity.  Complementing the airline’s existing fleet of A320neo and A330neo aircraft, the A321neo will provide greater flexibility and enhanced operational efficiency across Kuwait Airways’ network.  With its range and capacity, the A321neo is well-suited for regional and medium-haul routes including seasonal and strategic destinations in South Asia and European cities.

Speaking on the occasion of the new aircraft arrival, Kuwait Airways’ Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan, said in part,

“…The presence of the Airbus A321neo to Kuwait Airways’ expanding fleet will further strengthen its position as a leading carrier in both the regional and global aviation sectors. The company continuously monitors its customer’s requirements to provide the latest and best services, while remaining committed to ensuring the utmost comfort and safety for its valued passengers on every flight...”
