On Friday (June 20, 2025), Korean Air announced the introduction of a new range of inflight amenities for kids. The collection was officially rolled out om May 5, 2025, Children’s day in South Korea. The new, upgraded offerings have been designed to provide greater comfort and entertainment to children and their families during the journey. With the upgrade, the collection has grown from two to nine thoughtfully curated items, reflecting the various need of different age groups. Korean Air now offers two distinct kit types, one for preschool-aged children, and one for school-aged children.
In Friday’s announcement, Korean Air’s Managing VP and Head of the Inflight Service Department, Dong Wook Lee, said,
“Our goal was to create moments of joy and comfort, whether it's a child getting creative at 30,000 feet or resting with their new pillow. It’s our way of welcoming our youngest guests on board and helping the whole family create wonderful memories together.”

The new collection features practical and destination-friendly items, including a hooded beach towel, a regular beach towel, a memory foam neck pillow, slippers, bed socks, and an airplane keychain. For inflight activities, the range includes a coloring activity pack, a doodle book, and a 3D paper airplane. The amenities vary across long, medium, and short-haul routes, with the selection tailored to the route and season. Additionally, children will now receive their own pair of headphones to keep, replacing the previously reusable headphones that needed to be returned after the flight.
