The Government of Singapore has added the Netherlands to their Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL) program. KLM will offer twice-weekly service to Singapore from November 1st, and customers will no longer be required to quarantine locally.
On Monday (October 11, 2021), KLM announced the launch of twice-weekly flights to Singapore for vaccinated travelers from the Netherlands starting November 1st, 2021. Since the Netherlands has been added to Singapore’s ‘Vaccinated Travel Lane’ (VTL) scheme, KLM guests traveling to Singapore on VTL flights will no longer be required to quarantine locally. Travelers from VTL countries will be required to show a negative COVID-19 test result that is no older than 48 hours prior to departure. Travelers from other countries transferring in Amsterdam to the two VTL flights to Singapore and beyond must meet all VTL requirements. Additionally, Dutch travelers can transfer in Singapore to onward points in Asia, providing they meet destination entry requirements.
KLM’s VTL flights between Amsterdam and Singapore will be operated with either a Boeing 777-300ER or a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
KLM maintains the highest possible hygiene measures for the health and welfare of guests and team members throughout the journey. The carrier has been Awarded APEX Diamond Status and the Skytrax COVID-19 Airline Excellence Award. KLM also offers maximum flexibility in booking, changing or canceling flights. KLM has also been awarded five stars from APEX, based on passengers’ own assessment of service and product.
