Emirates has introduced a new range of collectible toys and bags for their youngest travelers. The amenity kits are available for children 0-2 years, 3-6 years and 7-12 years, and have been designed from sustainable materials by an in-house team.
On Thursday (March 23, 2023), Emirates announced the introduction of a new range of collectible toys and bags, helping their youngest guests to ‘fly better’ when traveling. Designed from sustainable materials by a team of in-house designers, marketing and product specialists, the amenity kits are available in versions for children aged 0-2, 3-6, and 7-12. Each kit has also been certified for safety by Intertek in accordance with EN71 and Gulf toy safety standards. Each year, new designs are launched for the benefit of frequent travelers and Emirates collectors.
The baby and infant kit contains all of the things a parent needs onboard for comfort and hygiene, such as a reusable changing mat, diaper cream and cleansing wipes, a wipe-clean bib, a soothing vibrating plush toy and collectible ‘blanket buddies’, where an Emirates character soft toy representing a pilot or cabin crew is offered alongside a soft blanket. The kit is designed to be reusable, and the colorful bags feature hand drawn artwork representing the people, places and cultures that Emirates serves across 140 destinations. The unique design features emblems of Dubai, daytime and nighttime scenes, the flagship Airbus A380, and friendly members of the Emirates cabin crew and pilots holding hands with people from all cultures of the world.
Little explorers aged 3-6 years will enjoy an amenity kit designed to build memories and create excitement when traveling the world. Kids in this age group are given a trendy belt bag, larger backpack or generous duffle bag, as well as special headphones for ice inflight entertainment, with a soft and comfortable fit for smaller ears. The kit also includes an engaging ‘Fly with Me’ activity pack with non-toxic colored pencils, featuring kid-friendly world maps, puzzles, drawing tutorials, coloring pages and educational activities. Each kit is made from responsible sourced materials, including plastic bottles, with up to four bottles recycled per bag.
Children 7-12 will receive cool belt bags, larger backpacks or duffle bags designed with subtle and trendy graphics. The unique design features emblems of Dubai, Emirates aircraft, cabin crew and pilots, as well as iconic landmarks from around the world. The bags are created from 100 percent sustainable materials and repurposed plastic, with up to seven bottles being recycled to make each bag. Children 7-12 will also get special headphones so the can enjoy Emirates award-winning ice IFE system.
Additionally, to build unforgettable travel memories, cabin crew members can capture special moments onboard with an instant Polaroid camera, and present the photo in a limited-edition photo frame. So babies can enjoy their nap time in safety and comfort, Emirates also offers bookable bassinets for infants under two, and all restrooms are equipped with baby changing tables. Organic baby food, milk formula and baby bottles are available onboard for infants. For children over two, kid’s meals are served on nearly all routes, excluding some short-haul routes within the GCC. These meals feature popular, tasty and high-quality kid favorites such as chicken nuggets, pasts, mini burgers and pizza, accompanied by healthy snacks, sweet treats, juice and water.

On the ground, Emirates offers priority boarding for families across all international airports. At Dubai International Airport, the carrier provides free baby strollers for infants and toddlers, as well as a dedicated family check-in during peak travel periods. Additionally, in the First and Business Class lounges at Dubai Airport (Concourse A&B), the kids play areas have arcade quality games and Sony PlayStation terminals. These lounges also feature mother and baby care rooms, with comfortable feeding areas and baby changing facilities.
Emirates also offers a unique ‘Unaccompanied Minors Service’ for children aged 5-11 years who are traveling alone. There is also a dedicated Unaccompanied Minors Lounge with video games, free Wi-Fi, comfy sofas, and children’s bathrooms, where kids can enjoy drinks and snacks as they wait for their flights. Kids utilizing the Unaccompanied Minor Service will be accompanied and supervised by Emirates ground staff and cabin crew every step of their journey.
