On Monday (September 23, 2024), Kenya Airways announced the opening of ‘The Asante Executive Hub’, a unique government travel hub at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) in Nairobi.  The one-of-a kind travel hub has been designed to offer one-stop travel solutions for both governments and private sector executive travelers alike, and will offer a comprehensive range of travel options, including ticketing and customer care, while prioritizing convenience, safety and efficiency.

Speaking at Monday’s launch event, Kenya Airways Group’s Managing Director and CEO, Allan Kilavuka, said,

“The Asante Executive Hub is a testament to our dedication to delivering specialized and high-quality services to our government clientele.  This hub positions us as the go-to partner for government travel management, bolstering our commitment to excellence and fostering a closer partnership with Government officials.”

Kenya Airways’ Chief Commercial and Customer Officer, Julius Thairu, added,

“As part of our customer-centricity, we are pioneering innovations and setting new benchmarks for customer satisfaction and loyalty within the travel industry.  We continuously explore innovative ways to enhance our services and create lasting customer value that aligns with our long-term growth strategy to drive our market expansion efforts, particularly within the government and executive travel sectors.”

Nestled within the KICC, the Asante Executive Hub is strategically positioned to cater to international travelers attending global conferences and events, solidifying Kenya Airways’ pivotal role in the government and business travel space.  Over the coming months, the hub will transition into a fully-accredited IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) entity, allowing the carrier to offer expanded services such as ticketing for other airlines, executive charter services, and advanced online travel management.
