JetBlue Launches New Service Between Traverse City, Michigan and Boston

JetBlue has today started new service between Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City Michigan and Boston.  For summer 2025, the route will operate three times weekly, with introductory one-way fares from $69.

On Thursday (June 5, 2025), JetBlue announced the start of new service between Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City, Michigan (TVC) and Boston (BOS), one of their focus cities.  The new summer seasonal route will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays through October 25, 2025, with an Airbus A220, offering customers JetBlue’s award-winning service, fast and free Fly-Fi®, seatback entertainment at every seat, and complimentary snacks and drinks.  Limited-time introductory one-way fares are now available for booking on the carrier’s website from $69 (T&Cs apply).  Inbound customers to Boston will enjoy convenient one-stop connections across JetBlue’s extensive focus city network. 


In Thursday’s announcement, JetBlue’s VP – Network Plan and airline partnerships, David Jehn, said,


“Traverse City might be one of the best-kept summer secrets, and JetBlue is excited to make it more accessible to travelers.  This new route reflects our commitment to connecting more people to unique and underserved destinations.  By adding Traverse City to our map, we’re not only opening the door for New Englanders to discover Northern Michigan’s natural beauty but also giving locals easier access to Boston and JetBlue’s broader network.”


Also commenting on the launch of JetBlue’s new Boston service, Cherry Capital Airport’s CEO, Kevin Klein, added,
