JetBlue to Launch New Service Between Boston and Presque Isle in Northern Maine

Starting September 5, 2024, JetBlue will launch new daily service between Boston and Presque Isle, facilitating onward connectivity via Boston to residents of Northern Maine and New Brunswick.

On Friday (June 14, 2024), JetBlue announced the launch of new daily service between Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Presque Isle International Airport (PQI) in Northern Maine starting September 5, 2024.  Inbound guests to Boston will also enjoy seamless same-terminal connectivity to destinations such as Florida, Las Vegas, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and more.  Celebrating the new route, one-way fares are now bookable on the JetBlue website from $59 (T&Cs apply).  JetBlue flight 206 will depart Boston at 20:45 and arrive in Presque Isle at 22:10, while the return flight departs Presque Isle at 05:45 the following morning, and lands back in Boston at 07:10.   


In Friday’s announcement, JetBlue’s VP – Network Planning and Network Partnerships, David Jehn, said,


“We are excited for the opportunity to bring Boston flights back to The County while also offering the community access to their top destinations around the U.S., Caribbean, and beyond through our large focus city at Logan International Airport.  We thank the U.S. Department of Transportation for selecting JetBlue for this new Essential Air Service route.  We take our responsibility of offering northern Maine reliable, high-quality service seriously, and look forward to introducing the region to our award-winning JetBlue experience.”


Also commenting on the new service to/from Boston, Presque Isle City Council Chairman, Kevin Freeman, said,


“The City of Presque Isle and Aroostook County are pleased to begin a new chapter in airline service partnering with JetBlue.  We are eagerly awaiting to experience JetBlue's renowned innovation and creativity which will expand and grow air travelers' experiences in our region.”
