JetBlue has today announced the launch of a new partnership with Brightline for intermodal air and rail service, enhancing connectivity for customers traveling on combined itineraries through Central and South Florida.

On Tuesday (June 3, 2025), JetBlue announced the establishment of their first intermodal air and rail partnership. Through the new partnership with high-speed rail operator Brightline, customers will enjoy seamless connectivity when traveling on combined itineraries through Central and South Florida. Brightline is America’s first and only privately owned, operated and managed passenger rail system. JetBlue customers can now book Brightline tickets on the JetBlue website as part of a combined itinerary, providing even more options when traveling to and from cities such as Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Orlando.
In Tuesday’s announcement, JetBlue’s VP – Network Planning and Airline Partnerships, Dave Jehn, said,
“As we continue to grow in Florida and offer more flights to and from cities like Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Orlando, our partnership with Brightline helps us deliver even more value and convenience to our customers. JetBlue and Brightline share a commitment to innovation and great service, and together we’re expanding transportation options for all of our customers to get to where they want to go, whether they’re starting their journey, heading to their final destination, or adjusting plans along the way.”
Brightline’s SVP – Marketing and Commercial Strategy, Barbara Drahl, added,
“We are proud to partner with JetBlue to enhance connectivity throughout Florida. This partnership enables travelers to book a single ticket for both air and rail, offering a fast, reliable, and eco-friendly rail transportation option while seamlessly connecting to JetBlue’s extensive network.”
Brightline offers convenient connections between JetBlue flights and stations in Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and Orlando. Located at Orlando International Airport (MCO), the Brightline's Orlando station allows for effortless connections between air and rail. In South Florida, Brightline offers shuttle service between airports and nearby stations, which is included in the JetBlue air-and-rail booking. Customers traveling in JetBlue’s Mint® or core experience can also be matched with Brightline’s available Premium or Smart fare classes, respectively. Brightline’s comfortable and reliable service features high-speed connectivity, spacious seating, a premium onboard experience, and direct access to popular destinations across Central and South Florida.
As an added benefit, this new partnership allows JetBlue to offer alternative itineraries that incorporate Brightline rail segments during periods of irregular Florida operations. This will provide more flexibility for guests and enhancing recovery options when travel doesn’t go as scheduled.
