JetBlue Launches New Service to Wilmington, North Carolina and Norfolk, Virginia

JetBlue has launched inaugural flights to Wilmington, North Carolina and Norfolk, Virginia. The carrier has also added service from New York-JFK to Detroit, Hartford, Pittsburgh and Providence, as well as between Fort Lauderdale and Guatemala City.

On Wednesday (April 30, 2025), JetBlue announced the launch of inaugural service from Boston (BOS) to Wilmington International Airport (ILM) in North Carolina, as well as to Norfolk International Airport (ORF) in Virginia. Both routes will operate daily with an Airbus A220 aircraft, offering customers JetBlue’s award-winning service, fast and free Fly-Fi®, seatback entertainment at every seat, and complimentary snacks and drinks. In celebration of the new routes, one-way fares are now available for booking on the JetBlue website from $49 (T&Cs apply).

The carrier also started several more new routes today, connecting JetBlue cities in the Northeast and Latin America to their focus cities, including service from New York-JFK to Detroit (DTW), Hartford (BDL), Pittsburgh (PIT), and Providence (PVD). Additionally, JetBlue has launched new service between Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Guatemala City (GUA), Guatemala.
In Wednesday’s announcement, JetBlue’s SVP – Revenue, Network and Enterprise Planning, Daniel Shurz, said,

These new routes expand our presence in Boston and connect even more communities to JetBlue’s broad network across the U.S., Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe.”
Also commenting on JetBlue’s new service, Wilmington International Airport’s Director, Jeff Bourk, said,

Norfolk Airport Authority’s CEO, Mark Perryman, added,
