JetBlue Expands Service to Puerto Rico, Adds Mint Service to Three New Cities

JetBlue is expanding service from San Juan, Puerto Rico with the addition of six new cities.  The carrier is also introducing their popular Mint experience to three more cities, and will launch new service to St. Croix, St. Vincent and Bonaire.

On Wednesday (May 8, 2024), JetBlue announced a major network expansion with the addition of six new routes to/from San Juan in Puerto Rico.  The new San Juan (SJU) routes include service to and from Providence, RI (PVD), Westchester County, NY (HPN), Santiago, Dominican Republic (STI), Medellín, Colombia (MDE), Cancún, Mexico (CUN), and St. CROIX, USVI (STX).  From July 2024, JetBlue will also offer their premium Mint experience on daily flights between New York-JFK and San Juan.   


In Wednesday’s announcement, JetBlue’s President, Marty St. George, said,

In addition to San Juan, this winter JetBlue will introduce Mint service to all Phoenix flights from New York, Boston and Fort Lauderdale.  Additionally, Mint will be offered on JetBlue’s daily flight between New York and Vancouver British Columbia, as well as between Fort Lauderdale and Las Vegas.


Further speaking on the carrier’s Mint expansion, JetBlue’s President, Marty St. George, said,

From fall 2024, JetBlue will also expand their Caribbean network with new service from New York-JFK to Argyle International Airport (SVD) in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Flamingo International Airport (BON) in Bonaire.  The carrier is also resuming daily service between San Juan and Henry E. Rohlsen Airport (STX) in St. Croix.
