JetBlue launched new daily service between Boston and Presque Isle on Thursday (September 5th), providing new connectivity to Northern Maine and New Brunswick. Celebrating the route launch, one-way fares are now bookable from $29.
On Thursday (September 5, 2024), JetBlue announced the launch of their inaugural flight between Boston Logan International Airline (BOS) and Presque Isle International Airport (PQI) in Maine. The route will now operate daily, providing new connectivity to Northern Maine and New Brunswick. Celebrating the new route launch, introductory one-way fares are now available for booking on the carrier’s website from $29 (T&Cs apply). The route will initially operate with a 100-seat Embraer E190 before transitioning to a 140-seat Airbus A220-300 in 2025.
In Thursday’s announcement, JetBlue’s VP – Network Planning and Airline Partnerships, Dave Jehn, said,
“We are happy to bring the long-desired Boston flights back to Presque Isle and the surrounding communities. This new service exemplifies our commitment to providing customers throughout New England with high quality service to the places they most want to go. We are grateful to the U.S. Department of Transportation for selecting JetBlue for this Essential Air Service route.”
Inbound customers to Boston will also enjoy seamless one-stop same terminal connections to over 50 destinations across the Americas and Europe. The new route is part of the carrier’s new ‘JetForward’ strategic plan, which refocuses their network on the Northeast. When JetBlue launches new service to Manchester, New Hampshire in 2025, they will serve a total of 10 New England destinations.
