JetBlue Appoints Vijay Raman as New Vice President, Sales and Revenue Management

JetBlue has appointed Vijay Raman as the airline’s new Vice President, Sales and Revenue Management. In his new role, Mr. Raman will be responsible for revenue optimization, ancillary strategy, distribution, and corporate sales.

On Monday (May 5, 2025), JetBlue announced the appointment of Vijay Raman as the carrier’s new Vice President, Sales and Revenue Management. In his new role, Raman will be responsible for revenue optimization, ancillary strategy, distribution, ands corporate sales, reporting to Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s SVP, Revenue and Enterprise Planning. Vijay Raman brings over two decades of leadership across revenue management, pricing, and strategy in the travel and technology sectors. Most recently, Raman served as Head of Pricing at MoneyGram International , where he led online global pricing strategy across 38 send and 28 receive companies.
In Monday’s announcement, JetBlue’s SVP – Revenue and Enterprise Planning, Daniel Shurz, said,

His leadership will be key as we continue advancing our JetForward strategy to strengthen our financial foundation while offering compelling value to our customers. Also commenting on his new Role as JetBlue’s Vice President, Sales and Revenue Management, Vijay Raman, added,

Prior to MoneyGram International, Raman spent nearly seven years with Spirit Airlines, where he rose to Senior Director of Revenue Management, and was responsible for ticket and non-ticket revenue strategy, operations, and forecasting. Earlier in his career, Mr. Raman held leadership roles in supply chain management at Samsung Electronics, sales strategy and revenue management at American Airlines, and consulting and engineering roles at Avalion Consulting and Lockheed Martin, respectively. Vijay Raman holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, a master’s in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
