JetBlue Announces New Airports and Loyalty Leadership Appointments

JetBlue has announced the appointment of Daniel Blake as Vice President Airports Experience, and Edward Pouthier as Vice President Loyalty & Personalization.

On Thursday (April 17, 2025), JetBlue announced new airports and loyalty leadership appointments.  Danie Blake has been named Vice President of Airports Experience, where he will have daily oversight of airport operations across JetBlue’s 100+ destinations spanning the U.S., Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.  Mr. Blake will report to JetBlue’s SVP – System Operations and Airports, Steve Olson.  Most recently, Blake served as JetBlue’s Director of Airport Operations in Boston, leading Logan International Airport and nine other airports across New England.  Daniel Blake is a graduate of the University of Tampa.


Speaking on Daniel Blake’s appointment, JetBlue’s SVP – System Operations and Airports, Steve Olson, said,


“Dan brings deep operational expertise, a strong connection to our culture, and an unwavering focus on crewmembers and customers alike.  Over the past 18 years, he’s played a key role in growing our Boston operation into the success it is today while driving meaningful improvements in reliability. I’m excited to see him bring that same energy and leadership all across our broader network.”

JetBlue has also appointed Edward Pouthier as Vice President Loyalty & Personalization, reporting to company President, Marty St. George.  In his new role, Mr. Pouthier will be responsible for increasing engagement  with JetBlue’s most loyal customers through TrueBlue, the carrier’s award-winning loyalty program, along with the carrier’s co-branded credit card portfolio. 


In Thursday’s announcement, JetBlue’s President, Marty St. George, said,

Also speaking on his new role as JetBlue’s Vice President Loyalty & Personalization, Edward Pouthier, said,

Before joining JetBlue in 2022, Mr. Pouthier worked at Delta Air Lines for nine years in a variety of commercial leadership roles in the U.S. and Europe.  Prior to Delta, he worked for Sabre Airline Solutions, the Star Alliance, and US Airways.  He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and received his MBA from INSEAD in France.
