Japan Airlines to launch new Nonstop Service Between Tokyo-Haneda and Doha

Starting in summer 2024, Japan Airlines will launch new service between Tokyo-Haneda and Doha, Qatar, becoming the first direct flight to the Middle East by a Japanese carrier. The route will operate daily with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

On Tuesday (July 19, 2023), Japan Airlines announced that they will launch new service between Tokyo-Haneda and Doha, Qatar for the summer 2024 season. With the new route, JAL will become the first Japanese airline offering direct service to the Middle East. Japan Airlines' new service will also provide seamless one-stop connectivity via Doha to destinations in Africa and South America in partnership with fellow oneworld® partner Qatar Airways.

The capital of the State of Qatar, Doha is a unique city, blending both modernity and tradition. The city offers modern facilities, top-rated hotels, and infrastructure for travelers, along with a vibrant mix of cultures and cuisines from different countries. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of activities such as desert tours, museums with historic treasures, and first-rate sporting events including Formula 1 racing and football matches.
