From late October 2024, Japan Airlines’ special liveried aircraft, ‘JAL Fantastic Journey Express’ will take to the skies domestically. The aircraft, a Boeing 767-300ER, is themed to Fantasy Springs in Tokyo DisneySea.
On Monday (August 26, 2024), Japan Airlines announced that a special themed aircraft, promoting JAL’s sponsorship of Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea®, will take flight from late October 2024. The aircraft, a Boeing 767-300ER, has been named ‘JAL Fantastic Journey Express’, and features beloved Disney characters, including Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel and Peter Pan, against a backdrop of Arendelle Castle, Rapunzel’ s Tower and Captain Hook’s ship, the Jolly Roger. This marks the sixth collaboration since JAL first partnered with Tokyo DisneySea when it opened in 2001.
Fantasy Springs features three areas inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios films Frozen, Tangles and Peter Pan, along with the latest Disney themed hotel, Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel. In addition to the special livery, guest traveling onboard the ‘JAL Fantastic Journey Express’ will enjoy special themed amenities such as custom headrest covers and paper cups. JAL’s specially themed Boeing 767-300ER will operate on select routes domestically from late October 2024 through November 2025. Routes and flight numbers will be posted on the JAL website the evening before each flight. Guests traveling onboard JAL Fantastic Journey Express will also enjoy a commemorative inflight gift and a boarding pass sticker, as well as inflight music from Disney Animation’s film Peter Pan, and ‘Journey to Fantasy Springs’ during boarding and deplaning.
