ITA Airways has launched a new onboard safety video featuring 19 Italian sports champions. The new video will be gradually phased in on all long-haul flights, bringing ITA Airways and the world of sport even closer.
On Thursday (December 1st, 2022), ITA Airways announced the launch of a new onboard safety video featuring 19 Italian sports champions. The video was created by the communication agency VMLY&R in collaboration with CONI and the support of Star Biz. Opening with two cabin crew members alongside Olympic and Paralympic medalists Vito Dell'Aquila, Luigi Busà, Antonino Pizzolato, Lorenzo Patta, Stefania Constantini, Amos Mosaner, Thomas Ceccon, Federica Cesarini, Valentina Rodini, Daniele Garozzo and Bebe Vio, the video provides important safety instructions in an original and entertaining way. The video also features champions Sara Fantini, Alexandra Agiurgiuculese, Alessia Russo and European champion Ciro Immobile.
In addition to the new Blue Savoia livery and aircraft dedicated to champions of all Italian sports, ITA Airways continues to pursue collaborations in the world of sport. During 2022, the airline entered into partnerships with FIP, the FIGG and ACI, celebrating the values and excellence of sport, while promoting the Italian team in major international sporting events. The new safety video expands ITA Airways’ link with sports, and is part of the carrier’s strategy of putting the customer at the center of the business, with the design of an increasingly innovative and rich offer under the ‘Made in Italy’ banner.
