IndiGo Starts New Direct Service Between Mumbai and Adampur

IndiGo has today announced the launch of new direct service between Mumbai and Adampur in the Jalandhar district of Punjab.

On Monday (July 7, 2025), IndiGo announced the launch of new direct flights between Mumbai and Adampur, their 92nd domestic destination, as part of their strategy to link key regional hubs with tier-2 cities. Adampur is located in the Jalandhar district of Punjab, which plays a vital role in India’s economic and cultural landscape. By connecting it with India's financial capital, Mumbai, the new route will help support the state’s growing industrial and agricultural sectors with greater access to commercial ports. Additionally, it will benefit tourism by encouraging greater exposure to the rich cultural heritage of Punjab.
Known for its strategic location on the Jalandhar-Hoshiarpur Road, Adampur is home to the Adampur Air Force Station, one of the oldest airbases in India. The city has a rich cultural heritage, combining a mix of traditional Punjabi lifestyle and a growing urban influence. Adampur offers access to several nearby attractions. Rangla Punjab Haveli showcases traditional Punjabi culture, while Devi Talab Mandir in Jalandhar is a popular spiritual site.
