IndiGo Launches new Service Between Mumbai and Nairobi

From August 5, 2023, IndiGo will launch new daily service between Mumbai and Nairobi, Kenya. Nairobi will become the carrier’s 27th international and 105th overall destination in the 6E network.

On Monday (June 26, 2023), IndiGo announced the launch of new daily direct service between Mumbai and Nairobi, Kenya starting August 5, 2023. Nairobi becomes the airline’s 27 international and 105th overall destination in the 6E network, and marks IndiGo’s entry into the African subcontinent. The Kenyan capital is the vibrant gateway to Africa’s magnificent safaris, and captivates visitors with its blend of rich heritage and contemporary allure. Travelers can explore iconic attractions such as the Karen Blixen Museum, or enjoy close-up encounters with giraffes at the Giraffe Centre. The world-famous expansive Nairobi National Park is home to majestic black rhinos roaming in their natural habitat, while nature enthusiasts can also enjoy the enchantment of Karura Forest or the breathtaking Ngong Hills. Additionally, visitors can explore the vibrant Village Market, or for the more adventurous, venture to the awe-inspiring Samburu National Park.


In Monday’s announcement, IndiGo’s Head of Global Sales, Mr. Vinay Malhotra, said,
