IndiGo Launches New Service Between Mumbai and Copenhagen

Starting October 8, 2025, IndiGo will launch new service between Mumbai and Copenhagen. The route will operate three times weekly with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on wet lease from Norse Atlantic Airways.

On Tuesday (September 16, 2025), IndiGo announced the launch of new service between Mumbai and Copenhagen starting October 8, 2025. The route will operate three times weekly with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on wet lease from Norse Atlantic Airways. Copenhagen will become IndiGo’s 44th international and 138th overall destination. Customers can choose between Economy Class or IndiGo’s tailor-made business product, IndiGoStretch, and enjoy complimentary hot meals and beverages along with inflight entertainment with close to 300 hours of content.
In Tuesday’s announcement, IndiGo’s CEO, Pieter Elbers, said,
“With growing demand for travel between India and Northern Europe, we are delighted to connect Mumbai to Copenhagen, marking IndiGo’s entry into the Scandinavian region. This expansion strengthens our presence in Europe, offering Copenhagen as a gateway to the Nordic region for Indian travellers. With every new international destination - Copenhagen being our 44th - we are inching closer to our vision of being a trusted global airline, giving wings to the nation, and increasingly to the world.”

IndiGoStretch offers extra legroom, reclining seats, and priority check-in. The exclusive service also includes a thoughtfully designed inflight dining experience with hot meals and alcoholic beverages from iconic Indian brands. Additionally, guests are welcomed with carefully curated amenities onboard, including exclusive overlays, sleep spray and other travel essentials.
