Iberia to Offer 70 Weekly Flights Between Spain and the U.S. for Winter Season

With the U.S. opening for European tourists on November 8th, Iberia has announced that they will offer 70 weekly flights Between Spain and the U.S. for the winter 2021/22 season. The carrier currently serves New York, Miami, Chicago, Boston and Los Angeles.

On Monday (October 18, 2021), Iberia announced that with the reopening of the U.S. for tourism, they will offer 70 weekly flights between Spain and the U.S. for the winter 2021/22 season, the same number as before the pandemic. The carrier will offer ten weekly return flights to New York and Miami, five weekly roundtrip flights to Chicago, and three weekly returns to Boston and Los Angeles. Iberia will also offer four weekly flights to San Juan, Puerto Rico as part of their North Atlantic joint business agreement with American Airlines, British Airways and Finnair.


Additionally, Iberia will offer seamless one-stop connections to over 117 U.S. destinations via codeshare agreements, including a recent agreement with Alaska Airlines, adding 37 new destinations from the West Coast. To celebrate the opening of U.S. borders to European tourists, Iberia has launched a fare sale with one-way tickets to Miami from €111, New York from €123, and Chicago from €123. Iberia is also offering discounted air and hotel packages, with, for example, a flight and four hotel nights in New York from €399. To qualify for the special fares, tickets must be purchased on Iberia.com by October 20th, for travel through March 31, 2022.
