Frontier Airlines has resumed their codeshare partnership with Mexican carrier Volaris, allowing Frontier customers access to over 40 destinations across the Volaris network in Mexico.
On Wednesday (May 8, 2024), Frontier Airlines announced that they will resume their codeshare partnership with Mexico City-based ultra-low-cost carrier Volaris, for flights departing on or after May 16, 2024. Under the partnership, Frontier guests will enjoy seamless access to over 40 destinations in the Volaris network across Mexico, including popular cities such as Mexico City, Cancún, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Huatulco, Acapulco, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Tijuana. Codeshare itineraries will be available for booking from May 9, 2024.
In Wednesday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ CEO, Barry Biffle, said,
“We are thrilled to resume codesharing with Volaris, which will provide Frontier customers the ability to easily and conveniently book travel to a huge array of exciting destinations in Mexico. Volaris is an excellent, well-established air carrier that has been in operation for nearly 20 years and, like Frontier, is focused on providing convenient, affordable, and friendly air travel.”
Also commenting on the renewed codeshare partnership, Volaris’ President and CEO, Enrique Beltranena, said,
