On Friday (February 18, 2022), Iberia announced the continued restoration of onboard service, with completely redesigned food service in partnership with DO & CO. Guests traveling on short and medium haul flights can now enjoy classics such as salmon poke, Galician octopus or potato salad via contactless payment. In Business Class, the carrier is accentuating fresh and seasonal ingredients, the flavors of high Spanish cuisine and the healthy Mediterranean diet. In Economy Class, Iberia’s Deliverfly service allows guests to choose their meals before flying via oberia.com. The service is part of the carrier’s sustainability plan and results in the reduction of weight and food waste.

Iberia is also reinstating their Inflight Shopping service, which has been expanded to include drinks and sweet & savory snacks served onboard via digital menu. Contactless payment is available with the customers' personal mobile devices, thanks to technology developed by DO & CO’s technology partner, Immfly.

Depending on the time of day, Business Class guests will be served breakfasts, snacks, lunches or dinners, all carefully prepared and served with new dishware and table linens. Options include favorites such as fresh Galician Octopus, delicious potato salad, vegetable paella and Spanish ‘cocido’ pork stew. Breakfasts include scrambled eggs and sausages, as well as Spanish ratatouille. A range of salad choices now include zucchini noodles with pesto and feta cheese, plus Jeréz lentils with garlic and cured mountain ham. Tapas range from wedges of traditional Spanish potato omelet to croquettes made with boletus mushrooms, Madrid pork stew, chorizo cooked in cider, or fried potatoes with spicy ‘brava’ sauce. Main dishes include chicken in mushroom sauce with roast baby potatoes, spinach lasagna, or a wok of green vegetables with rice. Meals are completed with one of DO & CO’s classics such as chocolate mousse, along with other delicious alternatives.

In the Dali Premium Lounge in Madrid, Business passengers can sample an extensive offering of hot and cold starters and desserts, including vegan and vegetarian options.

Guests traveling in Economy Class can pre-order meals and snacks on the airline’s website using the Deliverfly service, which offers a range of tasty and healthy hot and cold meals, all prepared daily by DO & CO. Selections will then be delivered by cabin crew members during the flight. Some options include lasagna and other pastas, salmon poke, Caesar’s salad and a variety of vegetarian selections and children’s plates.
