Iberia is celebrating their 95th anniversary today, as the carrier was established on June 28, 1927. To mark the milestone, the carrier is actioning off replicas of some of their iconic uniforms which were recently displayed at Espacio Iberia in Madrid.
On Tuesday (June 28, 2022), Iberia announced that in celebration of their 95th birthday today, they are auctioning off replicas of some of the airline’s iconic uniforms. Recently, the uniforms were displayed at Espacio Iberia, the company’s pop-up exhibit in the heart of Madrid showcasing the carrier’s new onboard experience, which coincided with the introduction of new uniforms on June 1st, 2022. The replica uniform collection to be auctioned includes designs by Pedro Rodríguez, Manuel Pertegaz, Elio Bernhayer and Afredo Caral, and are available from a starting bid of €80. Iberia was founded on June 28, 1927 and to mark the milestone anniversary, the carrier will be holding various activities throughout the week.
