IAG Reports Third Quarter 2025 Net Profit of €1.4 Billion

IAG has reported a third quarter net profit of €1.4 billion or €0.302 per share on flat year-over-year revenue of €9.33 billion.  At September 30, 2025, the Group had liquidity totaling €11.4 billion.

On Friday (November 7, 2025), the International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG) reported their third quarter and nine month (9M) financial results for the period ending September 30, 2025.  The Group reported a third quarter net profit of €1.4 billion or €0.302 per share on flat revenue of €9.33 billion.  IAG’s third quarter passenger revenue per available seat kilometer (PRASK) declined (1.1) percent compared to the same period last year to 9.76 euro cents, while total cost per available seat kilometer (CASK) decreased (2.9) percent to 7.84 euro cents.  At September 30, 2025, the Group had liquidity totaling €11.4 billion.


In Friday’s announcement, IAG’s CEO, Luis Gallego, said,


“We delivered a strong performance in the third quarter and remain on track to deliver another year of growth in revenues, profit and shareholder returns.  So far this year we have grown our operating profit by 18% and adjusted earnings per share by 27% and increased our interim dividend.  Having nearly completed a €1 billion share buyback, we intend to update the market about further shareholder returns when we report our 2025 full year results in February.  We remain focused on long-term value creation for our shareholders, helping to deliver our financial ambitions through disciplined investment for the future to improve customer experience and operational efficiencies.
