Frontier Airlines has unveiled a reimagined Frontier Miles loyalty program for 2024, with the promise that travelers can ‘Get It All for Less.’ Customers will be able to earn up to 20 miles for each dollar spent, get status quicker, and fast-track to Gold status.
On Tuesday (October 24, 2023), Frontier Airlines unveiled a reimagined Frontier Miles™ loyalty program for 2024, promising that customers will ‘Get It All For Less.’ Members will earn miles faster with up to 20 miles per dollar spent on Frontier, the highest earning rate in the industry, along with enhanced benefits at every status level. Under the revamped program, miles will now accrue for each dollar spent on Frontier products, including flights, bags, seat assignments, and bundles, all with a standard 10X multiplier ($1=10 miles). Mileage multipliers also increase at every status level up to 20X, with all miles qualifying towards status. The new status levels and fill benefits associated with the new Frontier Miles program will be effective from early January 2024.
In Tuesday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ CEO, Barry Biffle, said,
“We are thrilled to announce some exciting new ways for our customers to ‘Get it All for Less’ when they fly with us. We are making the new FRONTIER Miles program like no other loyalty program in the airline industry when it comes to earning free flights and getting valuable status quickly and for less. If you are someone who travels three or four times a year, you can easily earn a free flight and status with great new benefits in no time.
“Our enhanced program enables you to get free bags, seat assignments, and priority benefits rapidly. Plus, we are now rewarding customers for their add-on purchases, including bags, seats, and other extras. We are so excited about these upcoming enhancements, we are offering the ability to earn for next year now with an additional 10 miles for every dollar spent on Frontier - and if you get or already have the Frontier World Mastercard, you can receive Gold Status for 2024 after spending only $3,000. That means your everyday purchases and holiday gift buying could quickly earn you Gold Status for next year.”
In 2024, there will be four status levels – Silver (new at 10K), Gold (20K), Platinum (50K) and Diamond (100K). Benefits at all status levels include: a free advance seat assignment, no change or cancel fees (seven days or more in advance – fare and price difference may apply), priority customer care, family pooling, and priority boarding.
Additionally, for 2024, the new status tiers will be enriched with many new benefits such as free upgrades to Premium Seating as Gold level and above (subject to availability), and free carry-on bag at Gold level and above, with Platinum and above applicable to the entire booking. Other new benefits include a free checked bag (including golf, ski, or scuba gear) at Platinum level and above, with Diamond level enjoying two free checked bags for everyone on their booking. Subject to availability, Platinum customers can also enjoy a free pet-in-cabin. Diamond and Platinum level customers can also gift Gold and Silver status to a family member or friend, respectively.

As previously mentioned, each status level also provides a faster path to the next level and more miles to use towards free travel. Silver at 10,000 qualifying miles will earn a 12X mileage multiplier per dollar sent, Gold at 20,000 a 14X multiplier, Platinum at 50,000 a 16X multiplier, and Diamond at 100,000 a 20X multiplier. Frontier Airlines World Mastercard™ credit cardholders who spend $3,000 between now and February 29, 2024, will also receive Gold status for 2024. As a special gift, Frontier has also launched an early offer enabling customers to earn a mile for every mile flown, plus 10 qualifying miles for every dollar spent on bookings made by loyalty members from October 23rd and December 31, 2023.
