Frontier Airlines to Launch Six New Routes From Atlanta This Week

Frontier Airlines has today announced that they will be launching six new routes from Atlanta today, including first-ever service to Honduras.

On Thursday (June 12, 2025), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of six new routes from Atlanta (ATL) this week.  This includes the carrier’s first-ever service to Honduras, with flights between Atlanta and Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport in San Pedro Sula (SAP), Honduras.  Nonstop service from Atlanta to Jacksonville (JAX), Fort Myers (RSW), and St. Louis (STL) are also launching today, while direct service to Palm Beach (PBI) and Columbus, Ohio (CMH) will start tomorrow.  With these additional routes, Frontier will new offer direct service from ATL to 52 destinations.  In celebration of the new Atlanta routes, Frontier is offering introductory one-way fares from $49 (T&Cs apply). 


In Thursday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ VP – Network and operations design, Josh Flyr, said,


“We are thrilled to launch these additional six routes from ATL this week, including our first ever service to the beautiful country of Honduras – just the latest in our growth in Atlanta.  Our departures from ATL are up 40 percent year over year this month, which means more ultra-low cost travel options for Atlanta-area consumers traveling throughout the United States, Latin America, and beyond.”


Frontier has introduced ‘The New Frontier’ which provides more transparency through upfront pricing and options to meet the needs of individual guests.  The enhancements include no change or cancellation fees, a ‘For Less’ Price Guarantee and longer flight credit windows, among others.  The carrier also now offers UpFront Plus, a new upgraded seating option with extra leg and elbowroom, plus an empty middle seat, in the first two rows of the aircraft.
