The new service to San Juan will provide robust options for those heading to Puerto Rico to visit friends and family or to enjoy the island’s beautiful beaches and warm hospitality. We have become one of Tampa’s fastest growing carriers and continue to add destinations to our route map, supported by the crew base we established at TPA last year, along with continued hiring of area residents.”

Also commenting on Frontier’s Tampa expansion, Tampa International Airport’s CEO, Joe Lopano, added,

“Frontier has been an important part of TPA’s recovery and growth over the past year and we’re excited to now see this partnership expand into international service for our passengers. We expect these flights to be extremely popular here and a welcome addition to our roster of nonstop destinations.”
