Frontier Airlines has today launched new daily nonstop service between Phoenix and Baltimore/Washington. Including the new route, the carrier now offers 23 direct destinations from Phoenix, and eight from Baltimore.
On Thursday (November 17, 2022), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of new direct service between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) and Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). With the added service, the carrier now offers nonstop service from Phoenix to 23 destinations, as well as direct service from Baltimore to eight destinations. Celebrating the new route, Frontier is offering introductory one-way fares between Phoenix and Baltimore from $49. To qualify for the promotional fares, tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday, November 20, 2022, for travel on select days through February 28, 2023. Blackout dates include November 23 and 27th, December 26-27, 30, 2022, as well as January 2-3 and February 13th and 20th, 2023. A three-day advance purchase is required, but a return fare is not.
In Today’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Commercial, Daniel Shurz, said,
“It’s the perfect time to beat Baltimore’s chilly winter and head for the Valley of the Sun. We’re also thrilled to offer those in the Phoenix area nonstop service to this exciting history-filled Mid-Atlantic destination. Flying nonstop across the country just became more convenient and affordable thanks to Frontier’s ‘Low Fares Done Right.’”
Also commenting on the new service, Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport’s Director of Aviation Services, Chad Makovsky, said,
“We are pleased that Frontier continues to expand their presence at Phoenix Sky Harbor. This new service between Phoenix and Baltimore serves as a great complement to the many new routes they have recently launched. This announcement, along with the recent addition of a new crew base, demonstrate Frontier’s commitment to Phoenix Sky Harbor and our community.”
Baltimore/Washington Airport’s Executive Director, Ricky Smith, added,
“Frontier Airlines is growing its service at BWI Marshall Airport, with ultra-low fares to more destinations. We welcome the new flights that offer our customers more travel options.”
