Frontier Airlines Starts New Nonstop Service From Raleigh-Durham to Chicago Midway and Houston

Frontier Airlines has today launched new four times weekly flights between Raleigh-Durham and Chicago Midway. From June 18th, the carrier will also start three weekly flights between Raleigh and Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport.

On Friday (June 16, 2023), Frontier Airlines announced the launch of new service between Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) in North Carolina and Chicago Midway Airport (MDW). The route will operate four times weekly with introductory one-way fares from $59. From June 18th, the carrier will also start new service between RDU and Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), with three weekly flights and one-way fares starting at only $59. To qualify for the low promotional fares, tickets must be booked by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on June 23, 2023, for travel on select days through August 8, 2023. Blackout dates include July 3-6, 2023. A seven day advance purchase is required, but a roundtrip booking is not.

In Friday’s announcement, Frontier Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Commercial, Daniel Shurz, said,


“We’re growing fast at Raleigh-Durham. Those in the greater Raleigh-Durham area now have convenient and affordable travel options to two of America’s largest and most vibrant cities - Chicago and Houston.”

Frontier currently has over 230 new Airbus aircraft on order, which will help the airline continue to deliver on their mission of providing affordable travel across America.
